In anticipation of the September 6th garden event, we're sprucing up the picnic furniture with some fresh blue stain.  Many thanks to Alex Tropel (Library Technical Assistant) who helped sand and paint and also took these before-and-after shots.  It was a pleasant afternoon in the garden, working and sharing stories.

Our first sunflower has emerged!

Another Summer Season

It's been a scorcher this Summer of 2013. 

We're trying to keep up with the watering!
